Step 1: Add a New Case: If using import DC Case – Template import/export will create the case and employee data. Note: The DC Import is in beta - currently only Pre-tax deferrals are writing to the proposal records. Roth amounts should be added to deferral amounts. Employer amounts are not currently enabled for proposals.

Step 2: Add Employees: Click on the [New…] hyperlink to enable the drop down for add new Employee.

Employees can be entered manually using a Single form or via data file, to upload several employees at once. 

To add several employees at once, click on the box labeled to enable the instructions and download the template. Download the template by clicking on the box labeled .  Data formats are important for the data to import correctly. The Instructions are on tab one and the data is stored on tab two. Some cells have enabled lists that are displayed on tab three. 

 

Step 3: Creating a Proposal: Click on the New Proposal Drop down to select the proposal type. Multiple Proposals types are displayed so use the one labeled for your desired plan design. 

 

Step 4: Presentations: Presentations are pre-configured reports ready for delivery to your client/prospect. Click Presentations at the top of the screen. 

 

Step 5: Printing Illustrations: Print illustrations from the Presentations drop down on each proposal record. Three illustrations can be compared side-by-side using the Plan Comparison Tool. Select the Plans to compare and then click the save button. The DC Bundle will create a plan comparison of a Safe Harbor Matching Plan, Safe Harbor Non-elective Optimum, and a Safe Harbor Non-elective Maximum Plan (the last two are New Comparability). This includes creating a preset illustration for each and then bundling them into a comparison. These proposals can also be access to editing under the Proposal Menu and copied to be used in different scenarios.
