How to edit the rate groups in your PlanGenPro proposal.
Step 1: Under the design grid tab in your proposal there will be a button that says "Edit Profit Share Contributions." Some proposals will say "Edit Rate Groups." Click this to edit rate groups.
Step 2: Click the button that says "Edit Rate Groups…" Under the Edit Classes tab you can either create a new class by clicking "New Class..." or update an existing class by clicking the "Edit.." button next to the class you want to edit (this is normally done if you are changing the class for the people who are already assigned to that class).
Step 3: Whether you choose to edit an existing class or create a new class you will be able to edit the rate values as desired as a percentage or dollar value. If you choose to create a new class make sure to give it a name.
Step 4: After you make your edits, save and go into the Assign Classes tab. You can select who is assigned to which class from here. You can either select all participants or you can choose specific people by clicking on the check box next to the name(s) of the participants you want to assign to that particular class.
Step 5: Above the button that says "Assign Class To Group" there is a dropdown where you can select which class you are assigning. Then click "Assign Class To Group."
Step 6: Make sure to save and auto recalculate every time you make edits.
